Message-ID: Date: 5 Dec 90 13:19:20 GMT Sender: root@medusa.informatik.uni-erlangen.de Lines: 28 I've got a special problem : I want to write a windows-application, that communicates over the serial port, but I don't want to do that way like MS's Terminal : looking for free time in the system with PeekMessage(...) and looking in this time, if something has arrived at the port. My programmm has to sleep, and if something arrives, i want Windows to send a message to my application, which is then reacting in a proper way. IS this overall possible, does somebody have an idea to manage this (perhaps writing a new comm.drv?) ??????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Please mail your ideas directly to me, i will collect and post, if there are good ideas !!! forward thanx ! bye ! -- Torsten Sturm (BYTESTORM INC.) tnsturm@faui09.informatik.uni-erlangen.de testurm@faui41 testurm@faui43
