Reference 10 of this article pointed to a Prof. D. Harrison at the University of California, Berkeley. Telephone calls lead we through several switchboards and eventually to an answering machine (Prof. Harrison is on sabatical). A search by our library could find nothing more about VEM. I too would like to build a graphical interface (to manufacturing control software) and VEM looks like a tool that could help. Does anyone know where I can get more information on this software? Is other documentation or sources available? Are any of the developers on line? Thanks for any help. P.S. As a new subscriber to XPERT I'm not sure where the archives are kept so I cannot search them first. Daniel (Dan) F.
