I am afraid that the newest qmodem qm42c has sounded the death nell;
for blinks there is something queer about the installation program
and you have almost no curser control anymore. if you are a qmodem
fan stay with 41B or 42B at latest but 42B will initially crash your
com 1 port and you have to set it then you are okay.  I have asked
the author of qmodem if he wants to see what routine is causing this
problem.  I have tried it with vos vocal eyes and flipper with
virtually no success.
