Rather, I thought I would report on my success with Starlink: the pc pursuit competitor service. Bottom line is that it goes to Pittsburgh, works very well, and is cheap (but not as cheap) as pcp. For 7.33 hours of useage in October I paid $13.78 using the lower per hour rate plan with a character surcharge over the basic allowance. Also include the $10 per month maintenance fee not applied to useage. Still not bad and cheaper than at&t Reach Out America or Sprint +. Also, the only busy signals or trouble getting into the outdials I have tried so far have resulted from the bbs system being busy: no busy signals because of undercapacity of the system as with pcp. The sign-up contract ($35 initial fee) can be obtained from Galaxy Telecommunications at 505-881-6988 (voice). All of the docs are downloadable from the companies own bbs. Scott ...
