There has been a lot of discussion of parapsycholgy on the net with a
lot of resistance to the idea.

However, a news group discussing the mind, consciousness, etc. may be
better.  The group could be oriented primarily to dscussions of
consciousness, subconscious, hypnosis, altered states of consciousness,
theories about dreaming, focussed states of awareness, etc. Discussion
of paranormal abilities could conceivably be discussed in this
newsgroup, with the major emphasis being placed on taking a medical,
biological, psychological study of the mind and consciousness and going
from there to extrapolate and study the human mind so that we can
further understand it's capabilities.  I'm certain that the limits of
the human mind extend further than we've know.
