Germany announces new foreign aid to Rumania for economic rehabilitation, and Rumania expropriates all oil pipelines within its borders. London, meanwhile, announces a new trade agreement with Turkey. The RAF announces great success in its recent bombings, including damage to synthetic oil plants in Germany and the ignition of huge fires at an aviation fuel dump near Stettin.
