Gallery Press. It indicates that Iraq had, at least during the war with Iran, 8 Tu-16A and 7 Tu-22 bombers. The book implied that the Tu-16's were a very early version and that they are not intended to carry missles, just standard bombs. The book also indicated that the Tu-22's were capable of bombs or missles, but it again implies that only bombs were used in the war with Iran. With this in mind, I have two questions: 1)Does Iraq still have these bombers in operational service? 2)Does Iraq have any missles for these bombers to carry? If so what do they have? Thanks in advance. Scott Avery averys@mist.cs.orst.edu Oregon State University My opinions and questions are my own. Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
