Neither does Finland. Norway and Denmark do belong. Another note. It is nice to see articles like "A crossword for our servicemen", but since this is an international net, although USA centered, I would think before using the term "our". Now if it were to _our_ servicemen in Golan or Namibia... ;-) And one more. I remember having read from somewhere that a lot of intelligence work is done by catching pieces of non-classified information and putting them together. Like notes in this newsgroup like "My brother who serves in the SnaFu squadron in Fort Devnull just shipped out to the Persian Gulf with 30 F-19 planes. And then my uncle in the Yellow Berets..." Remember that this newsgroup goes to all ower this world. Even Soviet Union is now in the net, although I don't know if they get sci.military. And many universities have foreign students. So it is quite possible that all the information is this group is going straight to Iraq. They might get it otherwise, too, but this might make their job easier. I suppose, don't know for sure. [mod.note: The USSR on the net, huh ? That explains those subscription requests I keep getting from "ivan@kremvax.stavka.mil". 8-) Seriously, though, the points raised above are worth keeping in mind, especially at this time. To briefly repeat my position on classified material; I cannot judge the secrecy of submissions to this newsgroup, and responsibility for content rests with the authors. Please be careful. - Bill ] -- Timo Kiravuo, kiravuo@hut.fi Helsinki University of Technology, Computer Center, Finland Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
