Message-ID: <40581@ut-emx.uucp> Date: 3 Dec 90 14:11:52 GMT Sender: news@ut-emx.uucp Reply-To: blake@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu (Blake Freeburg) Distribution: sci.space.shuttle Organization: The University of Texas at Austin Lines: 9 Just a small question: How do they fill up the big tank attached to the space shuttle? More specifically, the tank is at ~273K and the hydrogen (liquid) is at <20K, so how much of it boils off, do they reclaim any of it, and do they precool the tank with nitrogen ? Just wondering after filling a few dewers with liquid nitro. Blake Freeburg Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
