A query to Oracle and Ingres users:
    Does anyone know of gateway products which are available for connecting
between Oracle and Ingres databases, and vice versa?  I have asked our
local Ingres people and they say that they do not intend to develop one
as Oracle will no doubt claim that Ingres will be endorsing their kernel
and providing only a tool to access it.  I haven't asked Oracle yet, but
I can guess their reply (re: a gateway into Ingres, that is)!
