However, I cannot find vip-mode. Is there any other way of making Emacs like vi through Emacs' versatile programming ability? Xiao I posted a request of making Emacs like vi, and got a number of response. The way to do it is to use vip-mode or vi-mode (unfortunately, our system does not have this mode. I wonder our system is using old gnu version).
