One is GATEWAY, which allows the local user to see what the remote user is up to. Another is WABIRD, which does the same thing, but adds some bells and whistles. The third is DOORWAY which will allow the remote user to run MANY applications remotely, such as WORDSTAR, LOTUS, LIST, etc., which use direct screen writes. Ftp users can get these on chyde.uwasa.fi (not sure if I sent them WABIRD, however). They can be downloaded from here (PEP speed) at +1 206 292-9048, or I'll uuencode them and send them along. These are all shareware items and have enjoyed wide use in the bbs world.
