Mark ---- Hi. My name is Margaret and I work for The Institute for Simulation and Training - University of Central Florida in Orlando. We (at IST) are curre ntly doing research into OSI protocols for real-time distributed simulation (i.e. simulators and training devices). We have been working with ISODE for approximately 7 months. When we starte d this effort, we knew absolutely nothing about ISODE, and it has taken a lot of time to climb the learning curve (which we are still doing). IST has writt en an ISODE System Installation Manual which covers the following things: ISODE organization (libraries, databases, directory tree), h/w & s/w environment, installation procedures, problems encountered, sample programs , and all available documentation that could be found. This type of manual would be very useful for beginners. If anyone is interested in our report, please let me know. We will try to make it available from the Internet. Thanks for your attention.
