He covers the changes in the internet/nsfnet in a manner that those of us who don't make the net our profession can quickly assimilate. Plus he covers all the generally adopted improvements to IP up through the middle of this year. There is also an information coupon from Interop Inc. who sponsors Comer's seminars. I've heard very good things about his 4 day implementor's course. The Interop Contact numbers are 415 941 3399 ex 667 or fax 415 949 1779. >How about an upgrade kit from Prentice-Hall? :) Yep, but you can do it yourself. Find someone with a casual interest in TCP/IP and sell him Version 1 for about $25 or so. Then buy the new one. Or just keep the old one so that when you have grandkids, you can stroke your greybeard and cite the "bible" when telling those "way back when I was a kid, we networked with tin cans and string" stories. :-) john >-- > howie > uunet!bcstec!voodoo!howie -- John De Armond, WD4OQC | "Purveyors of speed to the Trade" (tm) Rapid Deployment System, Inc. | Home of the Nidgets (tm) Marietta, Ga | {emory, uunet}!rsiatl!jgd | "Vote early, Vote often"
