Message-ID: <1865@fallst.UUCP> Date: 8 Dec 90 14:20:26 GMT Followup-To: comp.protocols.tcp-ip Organization: Fallston, MD Lines: 12 Looking for a low-cost way to connect to the Internet, it occurs that a spare VAX 11/750 running 4.2BSD might be used as a gateway. Can anyone comment on whether/how well this might work? I think I understand that BIND might not work without a lot of recompiling, but presumably I could run the resolver on another machine in the local network. What else? I will summarize if there's interest. -- UUCP: {rutgers|ames|uunet}!mimsy!woodb!fallst!tkevans INTERNET: tkevans%fallst@wb3ffv.ampr.org Tim Evans 2201 Brookhaven Ct, Fallston, MD 21047
