Nielsen Bannockburn, IL Lines: 20 Hello again net.oracle! We have encapsulated Netbios capability on our PCs right now... we are looking for a way to convert NBP to TCP/IP-encapsulated NETBIOS, and the reverse? We have a couple of programs which want to see NBP Netbios packets on the LAN. Specifically, a 3270-gateway product. Our TCP/IP can encapsulate Netbios, but the gateway runs a dedicated OS and we can't get in there to replace the protocol stack with something that can understand this. Any ideas? We understand it will double Netbios traffic; that's acceptable. -- -- Karl Denninger AC Nielsen kdenning@ksun.naitc.com (708) 317-3285 Disclaimer: Contents represent opinions of the author; I do not speak for AC Nielsen on Usenet.
