With the controllers I've had experience with, you want either GVP Series II, a Commodore 2091 or the Nexus. Get one of the larger Quantum drives (100, 120, 170 or 210M) and either an Archive 2150S or the Wantek 5150S tape drive... Speed is comparable betwen these three controllers, and they each work with either Tabu or MWtape. (The Nexus also comes with a tape driver that works well with Quarterback and their own tape backup software.) :+-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=+=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+ :| British Telecom Fulcrum | name : Simon John Raybould {^.^} | :| Fordrough Lane | path : sie@fulcrum.bt.co.uk \~/ | :| Birmingham +-----------+--------------------------| :| B9 5LD | // | AMIGA B2000 | :| ENGLAND | \X/AMIGA | Lattice C V5.05 | :+-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=+=-=-=-=-=-=+=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+ -- -Bill Seymour billsey@agora ***** American People/Link Amiga Zone Hardware Specialist NES*BILL ***** Bejed, Inc.
