The most confusing puzzle in all of the Zork universe, the Bank of Zork. One of the authors of the game was quoted as saying "It makes sense if you understand it." Spoiler ahead... I only remember the game vaguely, since I haven't played it in years. (I had it on my old TRS-80 Model III, to give you some idea.) The key to the puzzle was understanding how taking an object from the bank affected the teleportation/alarm/safety deposit box system. Experiment with the curtain of light and the portrait of J.
