Message-ID: <1990Dec7.065639.1301@ariel.unm.edu> Date: 7 Dec 90 06:56:39 GMT Sender: news@ariel.unm.edu (USENET News System) Distribution: na Organization: University of New Mexico, Albuquerque Lines: 11 I am posting this for a colleague. He's getting a IIci (5M RAM, Virtual, cache card) and wants a grayscale monitor to use with it. Much of the time, the monitor will be used for text (i.e. mostly B&W), but he does need to be able to display at least 4, preferably 16 gray levels at times. His budget for monitor (and card, if any -- remember the IIci has some built-in video) is about $800; for Apple stuff, he can get an educational discount. He would much appreciate advice on which monitor to get, considering quality and display area. Please e-mail to: otto@hydra.unm.edu Thanks.
