Apple is offering a US$250 rebate on 13" color monitors purchased with a Macintosh (at least in the US; I don't know whether the offer applies to Canada, but for you at least it's a rather short drive). This has brought down the cost of the monitor dow to roughly $450 and at places less. I believe the rebate expires Jan. 7.
