Lines: 14 Hi, I received a lot of emails asking me to forward any suggestion that I received concerning FTPing from rascal, so I decided to post this. First of all, let me thank all those who sent me tips. The solution is actually very simple, just make sure that the whole path is set up for binary transmission. Starting on the FTP site, type binary when you see the "ftp>" prompt. When the file reaches your local host, assuming you are using Kermit to download it to your Mac, do a "set file type binary" on your local host's Kermit and set MacBinary file mode on MacKermit. -- Kang Ho LEE email : khl@doc.ic.ac.uk Department of Computing address: 180 Queens Gate Imperial College London SW7 2BZ, UK
