Look, if security is a concern, the locked room IS the best idea.
(unless you want to hire armed guards to follow all the employess about..)

It would be far safer to write some code to throw the network card into
promiscuous more and watch for a supervisor log-in.   (And yes, I
know Novell is adding encrypted passwords......)
