Example: % who disser ttyp1 Dec 8 12:20 (bendog.engin.umi) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This should be bendog.engin.umich.edu Any fairly OS-independent way to do this? I'd like to use this to set my DISPLAY variable in my .login file, which will be sourced by Ultrix, BSD, and AIX machines. Please post replies by mail, as I do not read this newsgroup. -- \ Dave Disser | (313) 763-2660 \ disser@caen.engin.umich.edu / CAEN User Services | 229 Chrysler Center / Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2092
