I have Smail 3.1 as taken off of Anomoly in RI, and the make file
give me an error of "Cannot alloc mem for env.."  

I know owning a '286 gives on problems, but I still would like to get
Smail up.    Does anyone have (or know) of a place were I can get an
Smail that is tested with a '286????
