Keywords: Unix, ESIX, XENIX, library Message-ID: <4444@sactoh0.SAC.CA.US> Date: 9 Dec 90 04:29:51 GMT Organization: Sacramento Public Access, Ca. USA Lines: 20 Unix SVR3.2, or ESIX rev D to be exact. I used 'convert' to convert the archive format from xenix to unix, but the new archive lacks a symbol table. 'ar st' gets confused with this archive and does not generate the table either. 'ar -x' was able to exctract the object files from the archive, and 'file' describes them as '8086 relocateable (Microsoft)'. Question: 1. Am I on the right path? 2. How to convert the '8086 relcateable (Microsoft)' to the desired unix 386 format? Thanks! -- ############################################################# # E.
