DEAR SHEILA,

My name is Kathryn Daugherty and I am a supervisor with the Pittsburgh
Public Schools in charge of Programs for the emotionally disturbed and
the deaf blind.   Currently I have two totally blind and deaf gifted
middle school students who are fully mainstreamed. I know of no one in
this country who has similar students as most dual sensory impaired
students are also multihandicapped. I would be interested in hearing
from you about your students and the types of disabilities they have. I
might be able to set up a liase with my middle school students. Please

I visited Juneau this summer and found it just lovely.
