I know something about .arc and .zip files. I recently learned about UUENCODE and UUDECODE and have those executable files. More recently I have come across SHAR and BRIK and I have no idea what those programs are, and how to use them. Can someone help me? In case it is not obvious, I am mostly an IBM-DOS user with no access to UNIX. This question may be too elementary to clutter up this board. If so, please reply to me by e-mail. Thanks. -- C.
