This is an article titled "NetWare Communications Processes" written by Paul Turner, an engineer at Novell. It includes a complete discussion of IPX, RIP, SAP, and NCPs, and how they interoperate. It is a good overview to read before you get into reference manuals for the various API function calls. Reprints are available from the Novell AppNotes Hotline (801) 429-7550; I think the cost for 1 reprint is $5, chargeable to your favorite plastic. Novell publishes "Research Notes" supposedly monthly, but the last I've received is from September 1990. Ken Cox, Novell CNE imspw6!cox@uunet.uu.net Integrated Microcomputer Systems Rockville, MD
