The only thing you can do with a execute-only file *is* delete it.  If you log
in with rights to delete in that directory you can del it like any other file.
BTW, you should create a separate directory with backup copies of all your 
execute-only files that end-users can't get at or keep copies on other media
(floppies or whatever) because you can't do anything with the execute-only copy
except execute it or delete it.  You probably won't be able to restore it
from tape either.
