The devices will use either 50/125 or 62.5/125 fiber. The fiber from A to C runs through building B. The problem is the fiber from A to B is 50/125 and the fiber from B to C is 62.5/125. How do we connect together the 50/125 fiber to the 62.5/125 fiber in building B? I assume simply using a patch cable of either 50 or 62.5 would cause too much loss? Is there any type of fiber repeater or other such device we can put here? All suggestions welcome. mark -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark Miller Network Analyst lumm@spot.CC.Lehigh.EDU Lehigh University Computing Center LUMM@VAX1.CC.Lehigh.EDU Bethlehem, PA 18015 LUMM@LEHIIBM1 (Bitnet) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
