  I'm trying to get a Worldport 2496 Fax/Data Modem to work on my machine.
However, the documentation supplied is non existant to say the least when
it comes to the fax specific commands.

  By peeking into the supplied MS-DOS software, I've found strange commands
like "AT!X1!S1!S20!X!D7!R1!O" and such -- now what I need is a description
what those commands are doing, or even more.

  Is there some kind of WRITEFAX.MAN for the Worldport modems available?
Any pointers to any kind of references are welcome!
