There is a problem with Telebit and Everex 2400 modems connecting in V.22bis
(2400) mode.  Everex has a firmware upgrade to this problem for their
modem.  If you call Telebit Tech Support, they might have the code info
you need, in regards to the Everex modem.  I lost the info I had on
this subject.  Good Luck!
