I issued a show buffers and it isn't even close to being out of buffers. What other things cause an outgoing packet to increase ipOutDiscards? This Cisco stopped allow remote logins as super-user too. I brought a terminal to the console and the passwords were correct. I can get on the console remotely but any password I issue after I type 'en' is rejected although the configuration lists the password as valid. I'm running 8.1(14) w/bridging. I'm going to try and get in early tommorow and see if a reboot will clear things up. Has anyone had similar problems? -- Brian Holmes PHONE: (313) 577-3750 FAX=577-5626 Wayne State University BITNET: bholmes@waynest1.bitnet 5925 Woodward INTERNET: bri@jake.cc.wayne.edu Detroit, MI 48202 U.S.A
