I plan to install an alarm system soon, which will trigger a relay when the alarm is "set off". The alarm dialer should be set up so that it detects the relay trip, and dials a phone number, waits for a second or so, blasts out a code I specify, and hangs up. Oh yeah, it *has* to be touch tone (tm), because I plan to have the alarm system page me. And yes, I know that most good alarm panels have built in dialers, but they all want to connect to a central station's receivers, and as such speak some type of "modem-type" protocol, and my pager ain't gonna like that!
