	I am working on a geodynamic oriented program that involves the
digitizing of contours, and their subsequent 'manipulation', interpolation and 
contouring to form diagrams etc.  
	I've just finished a B.Sc and staring a Masters thesis in the face, and I can see where is sort of computer graphics has great potential in the field
of Earth Sciences, geology etc.  Well that's what I thought til I tried to look
up some references/articles, I can't find any!  Heaps of stuff about graphics ingeneral, but nothing about it's applications in mapping/geology etc.  Could 
a kind soul please point me in the right direction???  Or doesn't such 
references/articles on this topic exist???  Advice on various interpolation/
contouring methods (i.e. where to find...) would also be greatly appreciated.
