I'm looking for leads on video compression boards. I'm not tied into an architecture (yet), so leads on any and all boards would be appreciated. Basically, I'd like it to take an analog signal (e.g., NTSC, PAL, S-video) and have it produce a compressed digital stream output. The compression could be done using DVI, MPEG, JPEG, DCT/Huffman, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I get enough interest and response, I'll post what I find back here. Thanks, Brian ----- Brian C. Smith arpa: bsmith@postgres.Berkeley.EDU University of California, Berkeley uucp: uunet!ucbarpa!postgres!bsmith Computer Sciences Department phone: (415)642-9585
