The hardware configuration is a 486/25 Compaq w/ 128 kb secondary cache, 120 Mb (IDE) Hard disk, EISA bus. What I get is: > PC Scheme 3.0 18 August 87 > (C) Copyright 1987 by Texas Instruments > All Rights Reserved. > > [PCS-DEBUG-MODE is OFF] > [1] car > > [VM ERROR encountered!] Variable not defined in current environment > CAR > > [Inspect] Quit > [2] (+ 2 3) > > [VM ERROR encountered!] Variable not defined in current environment > + > > [Inspect] Quit > [3] (define a 5) > > [Syntax Error] Expression has too many subexpression ;8-\ > (DEFINE A 5) > [Returning to top level] > [4] I tried also to disable as much as I could (low speed, no secondary cache, no hard disk, no TSR, old DOS), without results. Can anybody help me? Has anybody had this kind of problems on a Compaq 486/25 ? On a 486 EISA machine ? On a 486 ISA machine ? On a 386 with 387 ? On a 386 with EISA and memory cache ? Should I hope that future releases of PC-SCHEME (if there are any ...) will work on my machine ? Thank you for emailing, I will summarize if there is enough interest.
