The home-directories of the users are on a file-server and are mounted on the Vax and on the Suns, so on both types of machines the same aliases.{hash, data} are used. Configure 'sees' that we use NFS and says that files are kept in network-order. But in the resulting config.h it has "#undef NETWORK_ORDER" (I would expect it different). Well, the problem is that if we run "newalias" on the Vax, we have no aliases on the Suns, and vice versa. I also compiled Elm with "#define NETWORK_ORDER", but that made no difference. So, what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Environment: Elm 2.3.8, SunOS 4.1, Ultrix 4.0 Ben J. Lippolt --- PTT Research, Dr. Neher Laboratories [ E-mail : BJ_Lippolt@pttrnl.nl ] P.O.
