I am thinking about upgrading by purchasing the Intel Inboard 386/PC w/2 meg piggyback. Would I need to upgrade my 100 W power suply (moniter plugs in wall)? Are the increases in efficiency worth the $460 price tag? What are the increases in efficiency? I know it disables the ram on the cpu, so does the bios also become disabled? I use Tubo C ++ Professional, and just received my first big project. I need the memory and spped now but I don't receive the money until the project is finished (~8 months), so I dont have $3000 to sink into a new system. I'm just looking for quick fix and don't need alot of "Just buy a 386" because , like I said, I don't have $3000. Thank you.
