One with a file transfer protocol like Xmodem or Kermit? Failing that, do any of you experts know how to get COPY COM1: file to work? I can make writing work: COPY file COM1: but not reading. Sigh. I tried: COPY/A COM1: file and typed lots of ^Z s at the other end, but to no avail. Thanks for any help, Bjorn N. Freeman-Benson
