Message-ID: <1990Dec10.153441.9631@shl.com> Date: 10 Dec 90 15:34:41 GMT Distribution: na Organization: SHL Systemhouse Inc. Lines: 28 Sorry about the previous posting with this subject - I don't know where the content went.... I received the recent TRN posting in comp.sources.unix, the reposting of part 09, and patch1. I have compiled the whole thing, apparently without problems. (Actually, our system uses void for signal, but the test in Configure failed to properly catch that. I haven't yet figured out why - the grep looks OK. I just edited config.h manually for this.) I then executed "mthreads all" (NOTE: my threads database is NOT stored with the news - it is stored in a separate file system). When I run "trn" (which is set to default to -X) or "trn -X", + and = provide identical output. Also, t at the article selection level gives "No article tree is available". I assumed that "mthreads all" might not have been sufficient, so I executed "mthreads -f". trn still provides no thread info. Has anyone else seen this problem? Any suggestions as to what config parameters or mthreads parameters I have not specified correctly? (I notice TRN, PART 10, has been reposted. I have not picked that up yet.) Any help would be appreciated. Mark Batten mark@shl.com uunet!shl!mark
