Keywords: database Message-ID: <27645090-37cfcomp.sys.amiga@tronsbox.xei.com> Date: 11 Dec 90 04:06:41 GMT Lines: 23 I am trying to select a database program for the Amiga and the field seems to be narrowed between dbMAN and SuperBase. Things I am looking for are * Continuing support and development (bye-bye DataRetrieve) * Professional quality programming language * adequate development environment (debugger, etc.) * possible cross-computer development capability (MSD*S) Other goodies that would be nice are an ARexx port (hear that, Versatec?), SQL interface someday (or even better: QUEL), embedded interface to C programs, record locking for multi-process/user applications... I would appreciate any and all experiences, recommendations, or warnings. Thanks Ralph ----- Ralph A. Foy Nutley, NJ
