I'm looking for 2 PD/Shareware/Freeware/whatever (non-commercial)
utilities.

    1) Utilitity to scan a harddisk for bad blocks, and place a file
       (preferably with the "D" protection bit clear) on top of them.
       
    2) Undelete (for a harddisk).
