Message-ID: <86693@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu> Date: 11 Dec 90 01:36:23 GMT Sender: news@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu Reply-To: Jeff Martens Organization: Ohio State University Computer and Information Science Lines: 17 I've got an A1000 with an external A1010 3.5" floppy and an external A1020 5.25" floppy, and it'd be really convenient to have a little more nonvolatile storage. The pamphlet that came with the A1010 says that only one externmal drive may be connected, due to power supply limitations; the A1020 gets around this by having its own supply built in. It seems that people are using multiple external floppies. Are these lower power than the A1010? How many can I string out there? Do any come with their own power supplies? Are there any addressability problems? Any problems with using the A1020 with any of these schemes? Thanks. -- -- Jeff (martens@cis.ohio-state.edu) "Until you stalk and overrun, you can't devour anyone" -- Hobbes.
