Message-ID: <1896@beguine.UUCP> Date: 11 Dec 90 13:32:04 GMT Sender: usenet@beguine.UUCP Lines: 22 Being a newbie to the AMiga world, I have stumbled my way thru the paces of getting acquainted with a new way of thinking(look Ma, I can do two things at once). Anyways, I have an older AMiga2000 that I bought used and have come to the conclusion that I have a fat-AGnus chip. I see the swirl of messages about fatter-agnus and ECS and was wondering, what exactly do these things do. What is the big difference between fat and fatter Agnus and ECS. I would love to have the new workbench2.0 but right now I'll settle for better graphics. SO can some kind soul who has nothing better to do explain to me the following points. 1) Why get a fatter agnus? 2) differences between ECS and fatter agnus? 3) IS WB2.0 available to regular 1.2/1.3 people. 4) How can I generate NTSC signals to record on my vcr. and anything else you'd like to mention, I'm a good listener..
