Although I normally run with an A1010 and an A1020 on my 1000, when I take it to club copy sessions I often hook up two 1010s to it (I added a jumper to my 1010 so it would pass power). You probably wouldn't want to try this with a 500, but the 1000's power supply is up to it. I've never had any problems, nor heard of anyone who did.
