It is a completely new and high-tech design, nothing to do with the original one except the name, using the 68030 at speed from 20,25,to 33MHz with optional 68882 at the 030 speed. A 32bit ram daughter board is available as optional. Mega Midget Racer plugs into the 68000 socket and the 68000 resits on the board, and it can be brought back to 68000 mode with software or hardware switch. A static ram cache is avail. and you can put ROM kickstart images in it to speed up access. Board uses a lot of surface mount parts. It'll work with A500, A2x00, and with some mod. A1000. This issue of AmigaWorld has a good review about it. The price starts at $600 - $700 and up depends on configurations. I'm not related to the product and just seems to know this much. I'm also not related to CSA which manufactures it.
