Gidday! I'm a fellow Apple II nut in New Zealand, and have now got a
regular plug into this newsgroup. I've got a few enquiries to make, any
help is appreciated:

First of all, it would be really nice to get a COMPLETE set of
technotes. I have acquired all except for the following ones  IIgs #26 
(revised on 9/89), IIgs #36 (revised on 9/89), IIgs #49 (revised on
9/89), and ProDOS #25 (revised on 7/89). Note I do have older versions,
but I am after these most revised versions....

I remember reading some time ago a discussion about using the VBL
register on the //e to determine which scanline is currently being
updated, but my memory needs refreshing (no pun intended), so perhaps
someone else does remember something along those lines....

Has _anyone_ done any programming using SmartPort calls specific to the
Apple 3.5 disk drive? More specifically, I am after more information on
using the "SetHook" call. The firmware reference fails to give the
details of entry/exit conditions for hooking in your own routines....

Oh yeah, I tried to email Harry Zink but my mail bounced, so Harry I
hope you are reading this  definitely put me down for 1 French and 5
English versions of this FTA technical book for the IIgs you are trying
to publish.
Finally, a few file requests. Could someone please please please post
Gif3200 v0.2, and an unzip utility to comp.binaries.apple2. Also, if
anyone has a well looked after copy of either of the following classic
Apple II books  "What's Where in the Apple", and "Apple Graphics &
Arcade Game Design"  and is willing to part with them, please email
me. Phew! Did I write all that? Now all I need is a flash .sig :)
