I was once running a precursor to Xenix, PC/IX, on an XT one time and had a pointer go out of bounds. It ended up trashing the hard drive and I lost 2 weeks worth of work. >.... It seems like such a waste to own a piece of hardware that you don't like to use. Personally, I do not feel "unfortunate" or "deluded" because I own and actually like my IIGS. It does for me everything I need it to do and everything that I expected of it when I bought it. If a personal computer can meet a users needs in this way, it's a good computer. Who the hell cares if it can run UNIX or not if that's not what you bought it for?
