I'm not about to sell my GS. But I would never recommend that someone else buy one. I've already bought a PC and a Mac (and several other machines, for that matter). I have the luxury few can afford of being able to pick the best machine for the job. Alas, the GS sits around unused for several long spells. So many other machines do the job at hand much better. If you go back and read most of the "Anit-GS" messages appearing here, you'll find that most of them do not recommend that everyone unload these white elephants. Instead, they ask why would anyone buy one today? The only person I could seriously suggest to buy a GS is a long-time Apple II user who has a lot of experience with the machine. Other alternatives are cheaper and/or better for the new user. *** Randy Hyde The Apple II had its day. Let it die in glory, supported by those who love the machine rather than trying to force it on to those who will only hate it.
